The Malta Shooting Sport Federation (MSSF) is proud to partner with official local clubs and state-of-the-art facilities across the Maltese Islands. Whether you are looking to practice Olympic disciplines, compete in local trophies, or try clay shooting for the first time under qualified instruction, our affiliated venues provide safe and certified environments.  

Notice for Competitors:

All shooters participating in MSSF events at affiliated ranges must hold a valid Police Target Shooter License and maintain active membership in an MSSF-affiliated club.

🎯 2. Bidnija Shooting Range (MSSF Headquarters)

• Location: Triq Is-Sagra Familja, Bidnija (l/o Mosta)

• Disciplines: Trap, Skeet, Airgun Indoor Range, Sporting Layout, DTL

• Overview: The historic home of the Malta Shooting Sport Federation. Bidnija serves as the core hub for regular local selection shoots, national championships, and administrative meetings.

• Facilities: Clubhouse, cafeteria, equipment rooms, and Federation offices.

🎯 3. Qormi Clay Shooting Club

• Location: Qormi

• Established: 1972

• Disciplines: DTL (Down-The-Line), Straight Trap, American Trap, Olympic Trap

• Overview: Known as the training ground for many of Malta’s top Trap champions. The club offers a welcoming atmosphere for both competitive shooters and complete beginners.

• Facilities: Range Safety Officers on-site, firearm loan program for new shooters, bar, and dining facilities.

🎯 4. Southern Shooting Club

• Location: Hal Far / Birżebbuġa

• Disciplines: DTL, Trap, Sporting, Straight Trap

• Overview: A premier venue in the south of Malta hosting local cups, ranking matches, and social shooting events.

• Facilities: Fully equipped layouts, cafeteria, and private gun storage for members.
