Overview

The Malta Shooting Sport Federation (MSSF) is proud to host the 2026 European Champions League (Rifle / Pistol / Shotgun).

Sanctioned by the European Shooting Confederation (ESC), this flagship international competition brings elite European clubs together in Malta to compete for the championship title.

Hosting an event of this magnitude highlights the growth of target sports in Malta and reflects MSSF's ongoing commitment to building international partnerships, expanding our facility standards, and providing local athletes exposure to top-tier competition.

Participant & Technical Information

Rules & Regulations: All matches will strictly follow current ESC regulations.

Eligibility: Qualification and club nominations are managed through respective ESC Member Federations.

Equipment Control: On-site equipment checks and secure storage facilities will be available for all official delegations throughout the tournament.

Accommodation, Transport & Logistics

Information regarding official event hotels, shuttle schedules between accommodation sites and the range, as well as firearm/equipment import logistics for foreign federations will be updated below.

Media & Public Access

Spectators: Public access details and seating arrangements will be announced ahead of the match days.

Press & Media: Journalists, photographers, and media crews requiring press credentials should apply directly via the MSSF Secretariat.

Range Technical & Logistics Overview

Range Specifications: 4 combined shotgun layouts featuring Nasta Traps and the Elfipa system facing north-northwest.  

Official Targets: Laporte Eco flash orange.

Official Accommodation: DoubleTree by Hilton, Qawra, St Paul's Bay. Each participating team receives 2 complimentary rooms for 4 nights (Dec 16–20) on a half-board basis.  

Weapon Transport: Shotguns will be escorted directly by police to secure storage adjacent to the shooting range upon arrival at Malta International Airport.
